The Nepal Drinking Water Supply Corporation (NWSC) Pokhara has to collect water tariff worth Rs. 70 million [...] some consumers have not bothered to pay their water bills for the last 30 years. Pokhara Sub-metropolis [which installed 174 public taps] has not paid water tariff for the past 20 years, which amount to over Rs. 10 million.
“The corporation will cut off pipeline connections of those who have not paid water tariff for years,” said Uddhav Raj Upadhyaya, chief of NWSC Pokhara.
